Why Choose Swamp Shoot Out
Tyler’s Hope for a Dystonia Cure and the Gainesville Community are excited to host Swamp Shoot Out, a youth lacrosse tournament for North Central Florida. This event is commissioned by a committee of volunteers and all proceeds of this event go directly to Tyler’s Hope, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit. Although the officials on the fields as well as the location and luxuries all have costs, it is important to note that none of the administrative team will make a profit off this event and that a portion of your team costs are tax deductible. We are very excited to partner with many local businesses to provide you with the best experience possible and to put on a competitive and fun tournament.

What to Expect
Our Committee and volunteers have been working hard to provide the best possible experience for our athletes and their families. We have representatives from the local sports commission, Lacrosse Coaches, and families of lacrosse kids all who have brought up issues they have had with past travel events in order for us to address them as best as possible.
Schedule
Friday December 8th
Swamp Shoot Out “Throw Down” - 7:00pm – 10:00pm
Evening will include: Live music, drinks, food, and Pre-event registration
Saturday December 9th
Swamp Shoot Out Tournament Games (Lighted Fields)
Day will include: food trucks, lacrosse gear, speed and trick shot trials, tents, trainers, local vendors, bleachers, unified referees, amendments for coaches, possible lacrosse celebrity sightings, and much more.

Dystonia is a neurological movement disorder characterized by involuntary muscle contractions, which force certain parts of the body into abnormal, sometimes painful, movements or postures. Dystonia can affect any part of the body including the arms and legs, trunk, neck, eyelids, face, or vocal cords.
